PURPOSE:To retrieve and deliver automatically picture information by storing the register information and the picture information in a corresponding form according to the discriminating information after reading automatically both the picture information and the discriminating information and indicating an optional item of the register information as necessary. CONSTITUTION:The register information corresponding to the film discriminating information of a floppy disk 11 is read previously by a processor 15 via a floppy input/output device 17. Thus the correspondence is secured between the register information corresponding to the film discriminating information given from a serial data communication circuit 29 and the picture information 13a sent from a picture data communication line 30. Then correspondence is secured between the storing address of the information 13a and the register information. Thus an optional item, e.g., a patient ID, the photographing data, the photographed area, etc. is indicated and supplied out of the register information through a control terminal 16 in the form of a key word for retrieval. Then the correspondence is obtained between the indicated item of the register information and the corresponding information 13a. Thus the information 13a corresponding to the input is displayed on a picture output device 20 with no error and the optional picture information can be delivered with automatic retrieval. |
