PURPOSE:A hybridoma producing monoclonal antibody which recognizes alphafetoprotein existing on the surface of cell membranes, is used as an antibody for curing liver cancer, especially for missle thereapy, further used as a diagnotic and test reagent such as for cytodiagnosis. CONSTITUTION:Alpha-fetoprotein (AFP) originating from human placenta is immunized to BALB/C mice, which are splenectomized, then fused with myeloma cells of mice such as P3-U1 using PEG and the monoclonal antibody is obtained from the supernertant of the hybridoma. The antibody is used to dye the cellulin in hepatic cancer immunohistochemically and select the positive antibodies. The hybridoma producing the selcted antibodies are selected to collect the hybridoma producing monoclonal antibody recognizing AFP on cytomembranes. |
