PURPOSE:To improve loading efficiency by supporting a sprocket for guiding a bucket from an arm via two rods and setting the sprocket to an arbitrary position by expansion of the rods in a loading machine for a bulk material. CONSTITUTION:A bucket 5 is attached on an arm 4 mounted from a trolley 2 traversing a girder 1 via a pin 3 via a chain 10 guided by sprockets 6 through 9. In loading and unloading bulk materials 18 stored in one of holds of a barge vessel 17, a rod 2 is extended and a rod 11 is contracted, and thereby a locus of a tip of the bucket 5 for providing an excavated surface from being crumbling down. In such situation, rotation and driving of the sprocket 8 cause the bulk materials 18 to be conveyed in the direction of an arrow and driven away into a conveyor 19. When the captioned device comes near a bulkhead of the barge vessel 17 with advance of the loading, the rod 12 is contracted and the rod 11 is extended, and thereby the locus of the tip of the bucket 5 is made vertical. Thus, almost of the bulk materials 18 located near the bulkhead 20 can be collected. |
