PURPOSE:To obtain a cell with high charge/discharge efficiency and superior charge/discharge characteristic by being composed of a negative electrode comprising light metal, a positive electrode, and an electrolytic solution in which electrolyte is dissolving with a nonaqueous solvent and which contains a vinyl polymer. CONSTITUTION:This cell is composed of a negative electrode comprising light metal, a positive electrode and an electrolytic solution in which electrolyte is dissolving with a nonaqueous solvent and which contains a vinyl polymer. To be desirable, a polymer concentration in the electrolytic solution is usually in the range of 0.1-20g/l. The vinyl polymer concentration, being less than the above-mentioned lower limit value, causes insufficient effect, and on the other hand the concentration, being more than the upper limit value, does not admit an increase in the effect, but causes deterioration of a large current- discharge characteristic. |
