<p>The excavator, e.g. for use in an emergency, has a jib (2) formed by a three-arm lever (11-13) with three joints and a bucket (14) attached to its outer end. The jib is mounted on a turntable (10) on the back of a light lorry which is equipped with stabilisers (21). - The turntable can rotate through full 360 deg., enabling the bucket to reach all around the vehicle. The three hinged joints of the jib enable its folding, together with the bucket, onto the vehicle to enable it to be easily transported e.g. by air to disaster areas.</p> |
