<p>The gaseous phase of a principal heat exchanger (1) supplies the engine from a supercharger compressor (2). The liq. phase provides cooling for the gaseous phase, eliminating excessive heat generated by supercharger compression. The liq. flow through the heat exchanger is cuased by the action of an independent water pump (3) controlled by the supercharged pressure, with a time delay providing functional dephasing. A second heat exchanger (5) is located between the refrigerant liq. phase in the first heat exchanger and the surrounding air. An expansion chamber (4) is provided for the refrigerant liq. phase.
