PURPOSE:To read an original more vividly by providing a light shielding means in the area except an incident light path of a base material part. CONSTITUTION:The part except an incident light path 5 of a base material part 2 in a fiber array is formed with a light absorbing member such as a colored glass, and a diffused external light other than a light required for reading of originals is intercepted by absorption in this part. Consequently, the diffused external light is not incident on a fiber layer part 2. In this case, it is normal to form the incident light path 5 to the base material part 2 with transparent materials, but this path 5 may be a space. |
