<p>A double-stepped annular recess is formed in the opening of the internal face of the entry plate of the extruder which is attached by bolts to the outlet plate. In the recess are housed rings for sealing between the entry and outlet plates and the surrounding frame of the filter carrier. Teflon ring with inside dia. equal to that of the hole in entry plate, is fitted in the recess machined in the plate, followed by a ring of special alloy which makes contact with the transverse frame. A sealing ring whose external face matches the frame is housed in the inside face of the outlet plate.</p> |
