A sorption agent for stabilising the colloidal and organoliptio props. of beverages contg. organic cpds., partic. wine, beer, spirits and fruit drinks, comprises a block copolymer of polyethylene oxide (PEO) and poly-6-caprolactam in porous powder form, contg. 1-40 wt.% PEO units and having a specific surface of 0.1-80 m2/g, the pores having a mean radius of 1-600 nm, a volume of 0.1-2.5 ml/g and a porosity of 1-60%. Prepn. of the sorption agent is also claimed.
