PURPOSE:To separate an enantiomer mixture having -CONH-, etc. with high accuracy by using an optically active N-acyl amino acid deriv. which is a separating agent for liquid chromatograph as a mobile phase or adsorbing the same to an inorg. carrier having OH on the surface and using the same as a fixed phase. CONSTITUTION:The N-acyl deriv. expressed by the formula [R1 denotes (halo) alkyl, aryl, aralkyl, (substd.) cycloalkyl, R2 denotes lower alkyl, aryl, aralkyl, *denotes asymmetric carbon, A is the substituent expressed by the formula -X-R3 or the substituent expressed by -OH.B, X is -NH- or -O-, R3 is alkyl, cycloalkyl, aryl or aralkyl, B is amine] is dissolved in a solvent and is used as a mobile phase or is adsorbed on an inorg. carrier (silica gel, etc.) having OH on the surface and is used as a separating agent for a liquid chromatograph. The enantiomer mixture of a compd. having -CONH-, -COO-, -NHCOO- or -OH- group bonded with the asymmetrical carbon is thus made separable and analyzable with good accuracy. |
