<p>Furan derivs. of formula (I) are prepd. by (a) reacting a methane sulphonate of formula (II) with an amine R1R2NH (III) (in which R1, R2 and R3 are 1-3C alkyl), in a solvent, e.g. acetone or THF at 15-80 deg.C in presence of an inorganic base such as Na or K (bi)carbonate and in a nitrogen atmos.; (b) removing the solvent; and (c) pptg. in water to isolate the prod. (I) and its salts.</p> |
