<p>PURPOSE:To switch instantaneously tape travelling to high speed travelling and to reproduce the tape immediately after dubbing by driving each capstan by one motor, setting up a pulley diameter to a proper value and setting up a reverse speed to several times a normal tape speed. CONSTITUTION:A belt 38 is wound around fly-wheels 7, 29, 19, 36 fixing capstans 6, 27, 18, 24 and these fly-wheels are rotated by a motor 30. The pulley diameter is set up so that the reverse speed is several times a forward tape speed. At the time of dubbing, the tapes 4, 16 are wound around reels 26, 33 then reversely travelled at a speed of 3-10 times the normal speed while press-contacting pinch rollers 28, 35 on the tapes, and a recording signal is read out through heads 12, 24 in the reverse direction of the tape and recorded. Consequently, switching to the high speed travelling is executed instantaneously and the tape goes to the rewound state immediately after dubbing, so that reproducing is made possible immediately.</p> |
