PURPOSE:To eliminate the instability of a shaft system by mounting a flywheel on a generator shaft system. CONSTITUTION:A turbine generator shaft system is formed of high, middle and low pressure turbines HP, IP, LPA, LPB, a superconductive generator G and a flywheel F which has inertial constant GD<2> which supplements the amount reduced from the inertial constant GD<2> of the generator G. The constant GD<2> of the entire shaft system does not alter even when replacing a normal conductive generator with the generator G. Accordingly, the overspeed occurred at the system defect time does not vary from the case of the normal conductive generator, and the flywheel F and the generator G are regarded as being integral. Consequently, intrinsic vibration does not change. |
