PURPOSE:To maintain a stable combustion flame not lifted in burner port sections by forming the hollow cylindrical ceramic burner port on the inner circumference of the upper end section of a burner proper and forming the secondary burner port having a diameter larger than the diameter of the burner port on the fuel injection downstream side of the ceramic burner port. CONSTITUTION:A combustion apparatus is constituted so that the diameter D1 of a secondary burner port is made larger than that D0 of a ceramic burner port. A mixture 26 forms a flame (an inside flame 27 and an outside flame 28) by the work of an ignition plug 19 at a burner port section 16. A ceramic burner port 23 has small thermal conductivity, and is difficult to transfer heat to a burner proper 15. Consequently, the temperature of burner port itself rises, but heat hardly transfers to the burner. Accordingly, heat hardly has an effect on a nozzle section 4. A negative pressure region is generated in a vortex flow region 25, and the flow of air is generated slightly in the direction opposite to the direction of ejection of a mixture 26 and changed into a vortex flow (the arrow). The vortex flow promotes the mixing of fuel and air in the vicinity of the ceramic burner port 23 while giving a retardation effect, and excellent combustion can be obtained. |
