PURPOSE:To enable to relieve a terminal by trouble report of an ordinary operator of repeating board when the terminal is not relieved automatically by returning the terminal that got into abnormal state to initial state by fixed operation from a main wire repeating board in a program controlled automatic exchange. CONSTITUTION:When, for instance, a telephone set 4a has got into abnormal state, the state is reported to a repeating board operator. The operator dials specified special number by well known method, and successively dials extension number which is in abnormal state. The information is received by a controlling device 5 and sent to a central controlling unit (CPU)1. The CPU1 can recognize a controlling device 3a that controls the telephone set 4a and processing to return to initial state to the controlling device by ordinary technique basing on the special number and extension number. Accordingly, the terminal is returned to initial state by the controlling device 3a through a signal line 7c, and the telephone set 4a can be relieved. |
