PURPOSE:To prevent generation of uneven coating and to obtain a titled photosensitive body having excellent image quality in the stage of forming a coating layer such as a resin layer, photosensitive layer or the like on a base plate by a dip coating method by maintaining the base body at the temp. approximately equal to the temp. of the paint in which said body is dipped. CONSTITUTION:A base body 1 is transferred by a moving stage 2 into a cooling vessel 3 where air is fed from a fan 4 to cool the body 1 to the same temp. as the temp. of the paint 10 in a paint tank 9. A door 6 is then opened and the body 1 is moved to the right. The body 1 is chucked by a lifting device 7 and is dipped in the paint 10 in the tank 9. The body 1 is thereafter pulled up, is put into a dryer and is dried to form a coating layer. An uneven density arises from thermal expansion of the paint 10 and the paint is unevenly coated if there is a temp. difference between the body 1 and the paint 10 in the stage of dipping the body 1 into the paint 10. The generation of such uneven density of the paint is prevented by eliminating the temp. difference between the body 1 and the paint 10. |
