Cells of human cervical tissue suspected of being neoplasmic, such as cervical carcinoma, prostate tumour, lung cancer, etc. are combined in a buffered aq. test medium with mono-clonal anti-bodies capable of distinguishing between normal and neoplasmic cervical cells. The anti-bodies are tagged with a marker capable of giving a detectable signal. Union of the anti-bodies with the human cell tissue is detected by presence of the signal in the test medium. The monoclonal anti-bodies are obtd. from a human hybridoma CLNH5 or CLNH11, or hybridoma derived from these.
|
