PURPOSE:To extend the life of cleaning by constituting a cleaning brush and a toner recovering brush so that a toner stuck to the cleaning brush is transferred selectively. CONSTITUTION:A photosensitive body 1 passes transfer and destaticizing processes and faces a cleaning device 2. A rotating brush 4 is rubbed with the photosensitive body 1 to stick a remaining toner to the brush 4. The toner stuck to the brush 4 is stuck to a toner recovering brush 5 which is brought into contact with the brush 4, and the toner is removed from the brush 4. Therefore, the brush 4 is always held in a clean state because the toner is removed by the brush 5, and the life of cleaning is extended. Thus, the life of cleaning is extended considerably. |
