PURPOSE:To form structure in which a refrigerant is easy to flow in with an approach to the innermost circumferential side, and to prevent an abnormal temperature rise due to the partial heating of foil-shaped windings by mounting a liquid introducing pipe, on the innermost circumferential side of the foil-shaped windings a refrigerant inflow port is formed. CONSTITUTION:A lower liquid introducing pipe 11, on the innermost circumferential side of foil-shaped windigs a refrigerant inflow port is formed, is used. A cooling system is constituted by parts, such as a refrigerant tank 10, a pump 7 feeding a refrigerant into the lower liquid introducing pipe 11, insulating pipes 12 connecting the lower liquid introducing pipe 11 and cooling ducts 6, etc. In a foil-wound transformer having such constitution, the refrigerant is easier to enter to the insulating pipes 12 on the inner circumferential side in the vicinity of the lower liquid introducing pipe 11, on the innermost circumferential side thereof of the foil-wound windings the inflow port is formed, and the transformer is cooled sufficiently because the refrigerant in the refrigerant tank 10 is fed into the lower liquid introducing pipe 11 by the pump 7 when the windings and other transformer inside and the like are heated partially. |
