DRIVING METHOD OF STEP MOTOR

PURPOSE:To smoothly drive and position a load without stepout of a step motor by providing a low speed automatic exciting range. CONSTITUTION:A step motor having an accelerating range and a decelerating range is driven to accelerate or decelerate by providing a low speed automatic exciting range for rotating the motor in the number of steps capable of sufficiently absorbing the fluctuation of a backlash before the accelerating range or after the decelerating range in the speed characteristic of the motor, thereby smoothly positioning the motor by absorbing the vibration of the load without stepout of the motor even if the fluctuation such as the backlash occurs at a drive load or a vibration occurs due to an elastic unit.
