PURPOSE:To facilitate a mass production by cylindrically winding a strip electromagnetic steel plate formed with many grooves and mounting them on the cylinder of a magnetic material. CONSTITUTION:A groove portion 15 which extends in a widthwise direction at the prescribed pitch toward the lengthwise direction is formed on an electromagnetic steel plate 16 which has a thin rectangular shape and high magnetic permeability. This is wound in a widthwise direction in a cylindrical shape, thereby forming the inner periphery 17 of a stator. The inner periphery 17 is covered on the inner periphery of the cylinder 18 of a magnetic material, thereby forming a cylindrical stator. The portion of the groove portion 15 formed on the plate 16 becomes the grooves the poles, and the other portion becomes a toothed portion. Accordingly, the stator of a cylindrical linear stepping motor can be readily manufactured. |
