A laminated sheet consisting of an Al film carrying a film of a synthetic material on is not 1 surface of the Al, is prepd. by laminating the metal sheet by press. between sheets of synthetic which have elongation at bread of 80-180% (100-180%) and greater energy absorption than that of the Al sheet; bonding is by means of an intermediate layer which has shear resistance is not 0.3 N/mm2. - The composite sheet is used to make containers for sensitive materials, e.g. foods, pharmaceuticals and chemicals. The contents of the container are protected against O2, light, water vapour, loss of aroma, and entry of foreign aromas. The laminated sheet can be shaped by deep-drawing. |
