PURPOSE:To perform an initial data rearranging operation at a high speed with hardware processing by using a key code producing instruction showing the level of a common key record to each record of a rearrangement data group. CONSTITUTION:When a key code generating instruction 1 is executed, access is given to a main memory by the value of an address register 9 for operand 3 (3). Then each record of the operand 3 (3) is compared with a common key record set to a common key register 6 by a compared with a common key record set to a common key register 6 by a comparator 8. Then a coincidence signal between the first common key records is stored in a start address of a main memory operand 1 (4). Hereafter each record other than the common key record is read out of the operand 3 (3) and compared with the common key record by the comparator 8 to decide the byte degree of coincidence between said record and the common key record. Then the compared records are stored successively in the area of the operand 1 (4) of the main memory together with the record addresses. |
