PURPOSE:To strengthen sheathing construction while improving workability by driving a steel sheet-pile so as to be projected in an arcuate manner on the excavation side while mounting a flexible wire cable to the front of the steel sheet-pile and stretching the wire cable. CONSTITUTION:Steel sheet-piles 2 are driven so as to be projected in an arcuate or radiation-shaped manner on the excavation side extending over the whole length of a retaining wall while ground 1 is dug down up to slip-stop fittings 5 fitted to the fronts of the steel sheet-piles 2. A flexible wire cable 3 fastened to fixing sections 4 for pedestals or bollards or like separately installed on the extension of the steel sheet-piles 2 is connected to the slip-stop fittings 5, and stretched and cutting is executed. Ground is excavated down to the prescribed depth while leaving the ground 1 and the steel sheet-piles 2. |
