PURPOSE:To couple a handset to an acoustic coupler independently of the shape of the handset by providing an elastic belt coupling under pressure the handset of a telephone set to an acoustic coupler main body to a data communication terminal device incorporated in the sound coupler. CONSTITUTION:The coupler main body 6 is arranged on both ends of a rear face 5a of the terminal device 5, and a hook 7 and the elastic belt 8 are arranged on the middle part. A mounting member 9 having two hook hole parts 9a, 9b is arranged on the tip of the belt 8. The inner diameter of a cup of the coupler main body 6 is increased more than the outermost diameter of the handset (circle type and square type). The belt 8 is wound around the middle part of the handset 12 while the handsets 12a, 12b are brought into contact with the inside of the cups 6a, 6b and any of the hook holes 9a, 9b of the belt 8 is locked to a hook 7. Since the handset 12 is mounted laterally, the transmission performance because of kinds of microphones is not deteriorated in this case. When no acoustic coupler is used, the belt 8 is accommodated in the device 5 through a storage hole 10. |
