PURPOSE:To control a choke valve in accordance to the engine temperature through single thermister, by providing negative characteristic to a positive characterstic thermister for heating a bimetal employed to drive the choke valve in carburetor upto the opening temperature of choke valve. CONSTITUTION:A bimetal 12 for driving a choke valve 16 will open a choke valve when heating a proximity thermister 11 having positive chracteristic. This thermister has negative characteristic upto the temperature T1 corresponding to specific engine temperature to provide opening function of choke valve corresponding with the engine temperature. Consequently, for the temperature lower than T1, current supply is low to never heat the bimetal thus to keep closing of choke while upon exceeding over the temperature T1, normal heating of positive characteristic thermister is performed to open the choke. |
