PURPOSE:To obtain the transformer which has a good measuring sensitivity to be capable of the detection of trace amounts of corona by isolating shields from an earth potential and connecting a corona measuring device to said shields through the leading lines which penetrate through bushings of a tank. CONSTITUTION:Shields 14a and 14b are isolated from an earth potential by the insulators 15a and 15b arranged at the attachment parts with an iron core 1 and are connected with a corona measuring device 18 through the leading lines 17a and 17b which penetrate through the bushings 16a and 16b arranged on a tank 13. As the corona measuring device 18 is thus connected to the shields isolated from the earth potential, the corona generated from windings 4 and 5 can be detected with a high sensitivity. Particularly, as the corona is detected by the shields 14a and 14b, there is no decline of corona pulses due to the inductance of the windings even if the point where the corona is generated is farthest from the end of the high-voltage winding 5 resulting in the measurement with high sensitivity. |
