PURPOSE:A bundle of staple fibers which has been drafted in the drafter is false- twisted in a belt-type twister to achieve high-speed production of spun yarn with a high yarn strength. CONSTITUTION:Belts B1 and B2 rub the fiber bundle S at the outer surface to form fluffs f1 and the guide ring 5 rub the yarn to form fluffs f2 and fluffs 3 are formed by disturbance of a part of the fibers at the position D, immediately after the position where the yarn comes out of the front rollers 4. The fluffs f1, f2, and f3 are entangled around the surface of the inner layer of the fiber bundle as the fiber bundles rotates reversely at the untwisting point in the false twister 6 to bind the bundle, thus producing a binding spun yarn Y. |
