<p>The optical indicator is used for a push-button keyboard to indicate the actuated push-buttons and uses light-emitting diodes, each aligned with a respective push-button. A strip printed circuit board (12) has several circuits and connection points for the latter along it. An insulating spacing element (13) fixed to one surface of the circuit board (12) has a number of spaced light-emitting diodes (14) each with conductors connected to the connection point of a corresponding circuit. A frame (17) is positioned over the circuit board (12), with two sets of aligned apertures (18, 19) the first set (18) each containing a lens (16) positioned over a respective light-emitting diode (14) and the second set (19) each receiving a push-button. The frame (17) has a longitudinal groove below the first set of apertures (18) in which the spacing element (13) is positioned, with notches (27) retaining the latter after placing it in the groove and sliding it longitudinally.</p> |
