PURPOSE:To provide the titled compsn. having excellent electrical conductivity and stability (thermal aging resistance, etc.), by blending special carbon black having a low ash content and a high DBP absorption obtd. by a specified method, with a synthetic resin or rubber. CONSTITUTION:A synthesis gas and by-product carbon black are obtained by partially oxidizing liquid hydrocarbon with melecular oxygen and steam in a reaction oven by using a liquid hydrocarbon having a weight ratio of carbon atoms to hydrogen atoms of 9 or above and highly electrically conductive carbon black (ash content: 0.3wt% or below, DBP absorption: 400ml/100g or above) formed under such conditions that the oven is operated at 1,300-1,450 deg.C under a pressure of 25-80kg/cm<2> and steam is fed in a quantity of 400-800kg/ton of the hydrocarbon. 70-3wt% said carbon black is blended with 30-97wt% synthetic resin or rubber. |
