PURPOSE:To securely prevent reverse shifting during advancing of a vehicle, by allowing a transmission gear to be shifted into a reverse position upon brake operation only. CONSTITUTION:In case of reversely driving a sand buggy, a rear-wheel brake lever 8 is first rotated to a grip 5 side with a left hand to effect brake operation. Under this condition, a remote control member 32 is allowed to be also rotated to the grip 5 side. When the remote control member 32 is rotated, a wire 31 is drawn to rotate a stop member 25 from an inhibiting position 27 to a release position 28. As a result, an end of a gear shift drum is allowed to be rotated to a reverse driving position together with a rotation restricting member 21, and a reverse gear train is established by a shift operation to the reverse driving position to allow a reverse driving of the sand buggy. |
