<p>PURPOSE:To facilitate maintenance by fitting an automatic and manual paper feed and conveyance mechanism to a lower frame body and a transfer electrode and a separation electrode to an upper frame body into a composite unit, and supporting end parts of the upper and lower frame bodies pivotally in an opening/closing state. CONSTITUTION:The upper frame body 39 and lower frame body 40 are supported on a shaft 41 pivotally in the opening/closing state. (figure shows an opening state.) Recording forms P are conveyed, sheet by sheet, from the paper feed cassette 21 of the lower frame body 40 automatically by rollers 22, 23, 25 and 34 and a form which is fed manually is inserted from a table 27 and passed through a roller 29 and then conveyed in the same conveyance path as the conveyance path of the automatically fed forms behind the roller 25. The forms are exposed to a photosensitive drum 31 in the middle of the conveyance and toner is transferred 32; and they are separated 33 from the photosensitive drum 31 and then discharged into a paper discharge tray 37 after fixation 35. Consequently, if jamming occurs, the upper frame body 39 is opened around the shaft 41 as shown in the figure and the frame body 38 is further rotated as shown by an arrow A to facilitate repair and inspection.</p> |
