<p>PURPOSE:To perform smoothly turn-steering motion in rear wheels with the turn- steering of front wheels and thereby secure a turn-steering characteristic as well as to make drivability ever so favorable, by installing a dead zone range in a coupling member which couples a front wheel side part and a rear wheel side part of a transmission rod together. CONSTITUTION:A transmission rod 23 is divided into two parts, namely, a front wheel side part 23b and a rear wheel side part 23c and both these parts are coupled together through a coupling member 24. A cylindrical hollow member 28 is locked to a rear end of the front wheel side part 23b, forming an engaging groove part 25a. A dead zone range 27, whose width is set in a circumferential direction and to be larger than thickness in a projecting part 26a, is formed in space between the engaging groove part 25a and the projecting part 26a. When steering power in front wheels 2L and 2R is small, the engaging groove part 25a and the projecting part 26a both are not engaged any longer, and thereby rotative motion transmission is so designed as not to be carried out (referred to as 'at a dead zone range').</p> |
