Process for coating objects, contaminating waste or the like with a curable synthetic foam, and device for making use of this process. Process characterised in that it consists essentially in spreading a substantially uniform layer, with a thickness advantageously of between 2 cm and 5 cm, of two-component curable synthetic foam on the said objects, waste or the like, so as to form an odour-impervious cushioning by means of a gun 1 or a perforated sheet distributor connected, on the one hand, by means of two pumps 2, 3 to storage vessels 4, 5 containing the components of the foam and, on the other hand, to a source of air or gas under pressure 6, 7, 8. <IMAGE>
