PURPOSE:To improve the manufacturing efficiency of a fluorescent lamp by enabling the output current of a vacuum gage installed in a vacuum pipeline on the rotary side to be measured on the fixed side by means of sleevable current collector rails. CONSTITUTION:A vacuum gage 7 is installed in a vacuum pipeline 6 having a rotary exhaust device to produce an output current corresponding to the vacuum degree which is then introduced to the fixed side by means of current-collecting rails 10 and 11. The thus introduced output current is then displayed on a recorder or an inidcator. In addition, a solenoid valve 9 or another breaker valve is installed between the vacuum pipeline 6 and the vacuum gage 7 and opened only during checking of the vacuum degree. As a result, any variation of the charged pressure of argon which might be caused during mass production is prevented. Moreover, it is possible to increase the life of the vacuum gage 7. |
