<p>PURPOSE:To exclude a fault easily by rotating and stopping a semicylindrically sectioned roller for paper feeding in contact with a form when abnormality occurs to an image forming device. CONSTITUTION:An original is set on an original platen 3 and moved from left end to a right end, and reflected light from a light source 4 forms an image on a photosensitive drum 2 through a lens 5. The drum 2 rotates clockwise to form an electrostatic latent image on the surface of the drum 2 charged electrostatically by a charger 6, and toner is stuck in a developing device 7 to develop the image. Forms P are sent out of a cartridge 9, sheet by sheet, by the semicylindrically sectioned roller 10 and conveyed 11, and they are discharged into a tray 20 after transfer 12, peeled 16 from the drum 2, conveyed 17, and fixed 18. If detectors 22 and 23 detect abnormality in the middle of the conveyance, the roller 10 is rotated until it is not in contact with the form, and the device is stopped. consequently, housings 1a and 1b are opened easily and repair is speeded up.</p> |
