The invention comprises two separate elements which combine to obtain a copy on a scale which may be different from the original. The machine consists in impregnating or irradiating the starting element of the copy which is separately made from a material suitable for enlarging or reducing as a function of the emission of radiation from the part 3 which is controlled by an intermediate element 2 which in turn transmits and converts the signals that the part 1 emits onto the model in order to note the distances thereof relative to an imaginary shape. <IMAGE>
