PURPOSE:To attain smooth fuel supply to a carburetor and to prevent interruption of fuel supply, by connecting a switch opened and closed in response to the change in the intake pressure to a solenoid valve in an apparatus in which a solenoid valve and a fuel-flow regulating and controlling means are connected in parallel to a fuel supply pipe. CONSTITUTION:When an intermittently opened switch 8 is set at a low-speed value for ordinary operation of a vehicle after adjusting a valve 7 of a fuel-flow regulating and controlling means 3 in its idling state, fuel is introduced from an inlet port 22 into a valve chamber 6, with pulsation, by the function of a pump 13, but the pulsation of the fuel flow is removed while fuel passes through a gap (t) formed between the valve 7 and a through-hole 5. Then, a controlled amount of fuel is supplied to a carburetor 12. That is, a required amount of fuel is supplied to the carburetor 12 by opening and closing a solenoid valve 2 intermittently by said switch 8. Further, when the engine load is increased, a sliding rod 33 of a detector 15 is moved in a direction a shown in the drawing in response to the change in the intake pressure. Therefore, a switch 10 is closed and the solenoid valve 2 is opened, so that a required amount of fuel can be supplied to the carburetor 12. |
