PURPOSE:To rotate a rotary member in a simple structure inexpensively by disposing an elastic member at the portion of a nod of the vibration of a piezoelectric vibrator and rotating the rotary member by the elastic member. CONSTITUTION:Piezoelectric ceramic plates 1, 2, on which electrodes are provided on the surfaces, are secured through an elastic plate 3 made of phosphorus bronze to form a bimorph vibrator 13. A shaft 4 is rotatably mounted at the nod position of the vibration of the vibrator 13 which is formed of the plates 1, 2 and the plate 3. A static or dynamic pressure actuator piece 5, a spring 6 and a contactor 7 are disposed lineraly near the other nod position of the vibrator 13. Static or dynamic pressure is applied to the nod of the vibrations of the plates 1, 2, and a rotary member 9 which is contacted with the member 8 is rotated by the member 8. |
