PURPOSE:To suppress drifting and to exhibit satisfactory coloring in coloring sensitivity as well with a conventional ninhydrin test soln. by increasing the amt. of acetic acid to a specific range. CONSTITUTION:The concn. of acetic acid is made 7.2-12.5%, more preferably 8.0-10.0%. If the amt. of the acetic acid is too little, the effect of eliminating drifting is decreased. If the amt. of the acetic acid is excessive, the coloring sensitivity is decreased. The compsn. except the acetic acid may be exactly the same as the compsn. of the conventional ninhydrin test soln. and consists of 1.8-2.2% ninhydrin, 0.08-0.15% hydrindantin, 41.2-48.8% dimethylsulfoxide, 33.8-26.2% methyl ''Cellsolve'' and 0.9-1.1mol/l lithium acetate. |
