PURPOSE:To obtain a rotor which has a light weight, and high thermal strength in high speed rotation by casting and enclosing by internal chill method a rotor shaft made of SCM metal material at both ends of a rotor body made of a light metal material. CONSTITUTION:A rotor body is formed of an Al-Si alloy which has high thermal resistance and wear resistance such as AC8A or AC9A. Rotor shafts 2, 2a are formed of an SCM metal material such as SCM415, and cast and enclosed by internal chill method fixedly to both ends of the body 1. Thus, a rotor which has a light weight, high thermal strength and a durability for high speed rotation can be obtained. |
