In the weaving reed designed according to the invention, the axial and radial position of bundles consisting of stop lifters and spacer discs is to be set and locked exactly on a drive shaft. The two end faces of the bushes (2) bearing the lifter and disc bundles are provided with claws (17, 18) and gaps (23, 24) which form a claw coupling. After the engagement of the claws of one bush into the gaps of the adjacent bush, there is provided around the circumference of this coupling a boundary bundle of stop lifters and spacer discs which is delimited on both sides by position-securing discs of the adjacent bushes. The bush is fixed on the drive shaft by means of fixing pins. Each fixing pin passes through a circular hole consisting of two semi-circular recesses (11) provided respectively in the adjacent end faces of the adjacent bushes and is inserted into a bore in the drive shaft. These recesses (11) in one end face of the bush are provided in the claws (18) and in the opposite end face of the same bush in the gaps (23). The working length h of each bush (2) corresponds to half the spacing of the bores in the drive shaft. The claws and gaps on the two end faces of the same bush are offset relative to one another at an angle which is to the round angle in the same ratio as the working length of the bush to the pitch of the helix of the weaving reed ...
