To allow simple adjustment of the axial play of a rotor shaft mounted in plain bearings or the axial preloading force of a low-power motor rotor shaft (RW) mounted in a bearing bore (LB) in a ball bearing (KL) and preloaded axially via a resilient disc (FS), it is proposed that the axially inner front face of an adjusting disc (ES), which disc is rotatable through the bearing bore (LB) from a point axially to the outside, be movable up against the rotor shaft to give a defined axial play or defined preloading force by virtue of its axially outer front face - provided over its circumference with rows of supporting steps (ST1-ST4 and ST5-ST8 respectively) - being supported, in each case by means of a corresponding supporting step of the said row, against a stud (N1 and N2 respectively) projecting into the bearing bore and serving as an abutment. In this position, further rotation of the adjusting disc (ES) is prevented by the striking of a corresponding stop step (STI-STIV and STV-STVIII) arranged between two supporting steps which projects axially by the maximum installation height of the resilient disc (FS) beyond the next successive supporting step and by the minimum installation height of the said disc beyond the preceding supporting step. The invention is particularly suitable for use with low-power motors of all kinds with axial-play adjustment or preloading of the bearings. |
