<p>Benzylthiocarbamates, herbicides, miticides and fungicides Cpds. of formula: (where R = 1-3 C alkyl; X = lower alkyl, lower alkoxy or halogen; Y = diarylamino, cycloalkylamino, (di)alkylamino or an N-contg. 5-, 6- or 7-membered heterocycle opt. contg. a further heteroatom; Z = O or S; n = 0 or 1), are fungicides for use in rice culture and agricultural miticides and fungicides. They may be prepd. e.g. by reacting the corresp. benzyl halide with M1SC(Z)Y (where M1 = alkali metal or NH4).</p> |
