PURPOSE:To always use a device in the best state by providing a life measuring mechanism operated by interlocking with a use time and the number of times of image formation, on a process kit constituted so as to be attacheable and detachable to and from the body device. CONSTITUTION:A life measuring mechanism for counting the number of times of image formation in a process kit is shown in the figure. A pin 20 is projected from the side face of a photosensitive drum 2, and this pin 20 moves a pawl wheel 21 by one tooth when the photosensitive drum 2 makes one rotation. When one tooth is moved, the pawl wheel 21 is limited as to its rotation by a spring 22. Also, by a pin 23 projected onto the pawl wheel 21, a pawl wheel 24 is moved by one tooth by one rotation of the pawl wheel 21. Also, a disk 26 being a life display part is provided on the pawl wheel 24 rotating in the direction as indicated with a arrow, a radiation band-like color band 27 is provided to match a durable life of the photosensitive drum 2, and a durable limit of the kit is displayed. |
