<p>An electronic game apparatus formed from two parts. The first part is a base board (1) which contains a basic set of electronic components such as a central processing unit (30), a read only memory (35) and keyboards (4). The second part is a game board (12) connectable with a base board (1). The game board (12) contains a second set of electronic components such as a read only memory (50) and various displays (22, 23, 24). The base board (1) is capable of use with many games but each game board (12) is suitable only for one type of game. The game board(s) plugs into the base board (1) to allow for different game boards (12) to be used with the single base board (1). A feature of the invention is that interactive games between, say, four players are possible including the movement of tokens (27) across a playing field (20) on the game board (12).</p> |
