Process for the dyeing of wool or wool/polyamide fibre blends with acid dyes

The invention relates to a process for the dyeing of wool or of wool-containing fibre blends, the substrate being treated with an aqueous dyeing liquor containing an acid dye or a mixture of acid dyes which has a) an affinity of 90-98% defined as exhaustion of the dyeing bath and at the same time b) a migration ability in the range from 25-40%. The criteria a) and b) are determined under defined conditions. The dyes defined in this way give dyeings on wool which, with respect to evenness, fastnesses and reproducibility, fulfil high demands.
