The invention relates to an arrangement for supporting a steep earth wall and aims to replace the expensive materials used for this hitherto by such materials which are not only less expensive but can also be assembled in the simplest manner and are especially suitable for plant cultivation.
<??>This is achieved by supporting posts, placed on the outside against the steep earth wall parallel to and at a distance from one another, the foot ends of which are sunk into the ground and the two side faces of which have slanted grooves which run parallel to and at a distance from one another and rise to the outside and in which horizontally running planks are supported with their two ends, by horizontally running strips connecting the supporting posts to one another, and by strut pairs which partly enclose each supporting post in its top half with opposite, correspondingly shaped grooves and which are connected to one another at their bottom ends by horizontally running applied-load boards which are inserted at the end face into grooves of the strut pairs and on which a portion of the applied load on the steep wall rests.
