The apparatus for evenly feeding and diverting a stream of bulk material from a bunker or the like and having a horizontally arranged conveyor belt makes provision for a casing (2) surrounding the conveyor belt (7) to have in its upper section a tubular chute (1), which is mounted so as to be rotatable about a vertical axis (11), for reception and passing on to a saddle (3) which is arranged under the tubular chute (1) and about which the bulk material is optionally guided on both sides via turning flaps (4, 4a), which are mounted in a stationary manner above the conveyor belt (7) and are laterally pivotable, in such a way that the stream of conveyed material is discharged directly onto the conveyor belt (7) or round the latter to a chute (10) in the outlet. <IMAGE>
