The invention relates to a bucket dredger for conveying material deposited under water, with a floating body and a dredger arm pivotably mounted on the floating body and carrying a bucket. The dredger arm is designed as a hollow body and is subjected to buoyancy in the water, the dredger arm and the bucket can be pivoted by pressure means, and a supporting post with a point is pivotably mounted on the floating body. The point can be sunk into the bed of the water and forms a pivot for the floating body lying on the surface of the water.
